Well as much as I hate to admit it winter is here at the urban garden. Snow is expected in the next day or so not much an inch or two but enough to make it apparent that winter is here. In fact as I just let the dog out the snow was starting to fall. I really do not like it all that much because it is another source of frustration and stress. There will be some panic phone calls and people will complain that the lots are slippery. In reality when there is not even an inch on the ground there is very little we can do.
It is just a big inconvenience that it is snowing. I really had some other jobs that need to be attended to before the snow came. I guess they will be on hold until the weather changes again. In Chicago that could mean tomorrow!
