The warm season plants are all planted and set up for germination indoors as well as those semi hardy plants such as snap peasÃ‚ which will be set out in about two weeks. You can get better result when you start some of the semi hardy indoors and transplant outside when trying for early crops.
The goal this year is to keep the beds productive the whole season to maximize the yield from the vegetable garden. I will try to plant something every time a crop is harvested.
While the weather today is a little damp and chilly we have overall started out with a good spring. This week will see the rest of the perennial beds cleaned and readied for the new growth starting to emerge. I will try to keep up with the posts on the vegetable garden as well as what is happening at the urban garden although things are already starting to get a bit hectic.
