The urban garden is starting to come along fine . After the theft of most of the lawn equipment it was decided to hire a mowing contractor for the year to do the weekly mowing work. This has it’s good and bad points. Decidedly when ever someone else is mowing the lawns you do loose a bit of control but then you do gain additional time to work on flower beds and that is a plus.
The work continues on the building addition for this summer and the contractor is in the permitting stage so I believe we will see some new construction starting by the end of July. The summer annuals are almost all planted and we should start on the replacement of the perennials that did not make it through the winter in the next week or so.
I am still having issues with the desktop computer so I have not been able to post any pictures but plan on getting the laptop equipped with a card reader so should be able to upload some photos latter in the week.
