  Yesterday we were called out for 1 1/2 " of snow about 2 AM.We were able to get it taken care of before 6:30 so it was a quick and easy snow. One of the estimates came in for the replacement engine for the Kubota Loader total cost will be $62.00 shy of $8,000.00. Waiting for the 2nd estimate before we bring it to administration for their decision. Earlier last year we had gotten a trade in value on the Kubota of I believe $7,500.00 when we were looking to purchase a skid loader. My thought would be to not fix it and apply that money to the purchase of a skid loader. The Kubota is no longer a required piece of equipment as the campus size and make up has changed in the 9 years since it was purchased . A skid loader would be much more useful year round and save a lot of labor as well.

  Today we will be taking down the holiday decorations and getting the areas back to normal where the lighting was. There is another possibility of snow tomorrow so we need to get what we can done today.Hopefully we can get most of the lights done by Friday afternoon.
