Well July certainly ended with a bit of heat here at the woodland garden. Saturday the temperature was 94 and Sunday the temperature hit 98 degrees! Even in the shade it was pretty warm.I spent part of the day assembling a new gas grill to replace the old faithful that finally died after many years for great service. Then spent most of the day on Sunday watering everything as no rain was expected this coming week.
I have a few new shots of the woodland garden that I am posting here I hope you enjoy them.
Looking Down From The Deck
If you look to the right you will see some 4×6 lumber that will be used shortly to build a parking pad for the boat trailer and the scooters.
The Fire Pit Area
Looking to the bottom right you will see the path coming down the will receive the same washed stone as around the pit.
Cool Spot To Take A Rest
This is a great place to sit down and take a rest on a lazy summer afternoon. It also give you a nice view of the waterfall.
A View Of The Trailer
This view will give you an idea of the topography of our woodland garden. I think the slope of the land gives our woodland garden a real special appeal.
Our Welcome Sign
A view of our welcome sign that marks our lot numbers. The sign was designed and painted by my wife. The †Accompany Me †is the name of a song by Bob Seger that has a lot of history behind it.
I hope you enjoyed the tour of our woodland garden on a hot lazy summer afternoon.
Remember try and get out to your garden at least once a week although I think once a day is a great prescription for everyone. I will be posting another Urban Garden up date shortly. Have A Great Week!
