I'm not in small business (yet) but have been brought up with many marketing lessons from my father, one of them is what you've said above, only take what work you are interested in doing. Iv'e got ideas to start a nursery business in the future, my first principal will be that my plants wont be as cheap as Kmart or Bunnings, yet they will be of substantially better quality thus creating more value for the client. I cant wait to see the photo's of the made over pond. Congrats on having too much work to not have enough time to post!
