Gardening 2016 is definitely on it’s way and here at the Urban Garden it feels like it even more than ever. We have been experience Spring weather all week and Today it will be 55 degrees. The next 10 day forecast is 50’s and 60’s with only 3 days in the upper 40’s. If that don’t get those gardening juices flowing I don’t know what will.
For me this year will not only be about gardening but I have been working on putting together a course to teach how gardening can be profitable as well as a great pastime. My Grow Cash In Your Own Backyard course will teach you everything you need to know about setting up and running a backyard nursery..
You would be surprised even in a small space how you can make good money selling plants that you can grow in your own back yard.

Now is the time to get the Spring salad greens planted in the cold frames with the weather breaking so early. here this year.they should do good. I don’t know about the sugar snap peas but we may just put some in week after next to see what happens.
A lot of the Spring vegetables will be started indoors in the next week or so and the summer ones will be started in April along with some annual flowers.
Of course right now I am having a little trouble with my neck do to a vehicle accident that I was recently in so I won’t be able to do much of anything . On the bright side My Step Daughter and the 4 grand kids are staying with us and I think it is a perfect time to supplement their formal schooling with a little horticultural training.
Heck when I was a freshman in high school I already had 4 lawn mowing accounts and I sold Sunday newspapers on Saturday Nights and Sunday Mornings at the A&P market. The only thing I worry about is his mind might melt if he has to set the X-Box 1 down for too long. But I am willing to risk it!
The fifth grader should be able to master the poop scooper and a rake and broom but I will probably have to incorporate zombie hunting into his work some how.
The two girls which are younger will make excellent seed starters and maintaining the germination area. Course the youngest will want to name each plant as it pops up so I better get more plant labels.
